Abe’s Door™ Service Ltd. has provided exceptional overhead door services to Edmonton customers for over 44 years. Founded in 1979 by Abe Hiebert, Abe’s Door™ Service began with a solid commitment to service, quality, accountability and innovation. That legacy continues today as Abe’s Door™ Service enters the third generation of family ownership and continues to offer the high level of service excellence our customers have come to expect.

Meet our Owner

Travis Mair

Travis has been with Abe’s Door^TM Service for 25 years. He learned about the door industry from a very young age, helping his grandfather, Abe Hiebert (founder of Abe’s Door^TM), repair overhead doors during school breaks, and, in his spare time, accompany his grandfather on service calls. In 2020, Travis succeeded his uncle and mother and has become the third-generation family owner. He has developed a passion for working with the employees at Abe’s Door^TM, supporting them to succeed in their careers and maintain a healthy work-life balance. Travis and his wife are busy raising their four children outside of work. Travis enjoys mountain biking, playing hockey and weekends at the lake.
